Who Am I?
I’m All This and More!
French-born, fancier of languages and passionate about great design this is who I came to be, but it started…
At age 7 after my father passed and I was promptly shipped off to boarding school. There, I learned how to envision space beyond its confines and rooms filled with pretty things.
But, eventually the stuff about the furniture became ingrained and I began to appreciate its beauty and strength, gilt edges or not.
At 25 I was excited to see the world so off to America I flew–the land of all things new, which equated to rebels, ruffians and bohemians (aka the rive gauche) by the upper crusts I mentioned.
I moved right into the glitz and glam mecca of Hollywood and worked for several celebrities until I ran into a tall, dark handsome fellow. We married soon after and I became the mother of two beautiful girls.
In 1989 I saw the silver lining in my childhood and put together the pieces of good measurement, vision, antique furniture and combined it with the vibrant new modern world of America.
I have loved every minute of my journey through extensive training, examinations, certifications and the sheer joy of creating beauty as seen through my clients’ eyes. There you have it: no more wondering “Who Am I?”
And now for the really boring stuff…
